with Peter Lorber & Courtenay Gilbert

Join us for this photography workshop in sunny, tropical South Florida, hosted right here in our own backyard! We will bring you to our favorite locations to shoot, show you how to get the most from your gear and help you capture the tropical Florida scenery.

Start your picturesque journey by spending three nights and two days in the southernmost city of Key West. Photograph the southern charm and Caribbean flavor of this laid-back island nation called the Conch Republic. Capture images of endless pristine waters under warm tropical skies, pastel conch-style houses, lively Mallory square street performers at sunset, and energetic nightlife at the infamous Duval Street.

Next, spend two days and two nights in the exciting and vibrant South Beach area located in the city of Miami Beach. Here you will shoot the white sand beaches dotted with a rainbow of lifeguard stands looking out over the azure Atlantic Ocean waters. Explore and photograph the Art Deco District’s historical architecture. Time travel to Vizcaya, a lovely Italian 1916 mansion surrounded by tranquil European gardens. Discover the Wynwood art district of Miami to photograph the renowned street art covering the building and warehouse façades. Out on the water, a private chartered boat will take you to photograph the Miami skyline, Key Biscayne and Stiltsville - a curious collection of seven houses a mile off the coast.

You will end your workshop in Boca Raton at our photography studio, spending two days working on the incredible images you have captured during the week. We will go over organizing your images and learning proper stitching techniques, as well as answering any Photoshop, Lightroom or camera questions you may have. At the end, we will print a few of your images for you to take home and brag about.

We have carefully planned this workshop to get you to the most picturesque locations at the perfect times to capture these iconic places during the best light. And as in all of our workshops we enjoy great restaurants, stay in upscale accommodations, and share lots of laughter while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. This makes our workshops perfect not only for you the photographer, but also for your camera-wary travel partner looking for an amazing vacation.

There is no telling what you may discover during our South Florida workshop; but with unparalleled guidance, a group of like-minded people, and a location without limits, the doors are wide open for a world of possibilities!
